THE ART OF KNOWLEDGE CAPTURING

Anyone can be an expert depending on the kind of experience he or she has.

Expertise can not only be determined by the academic qualifications but also the way we deal with our challenging experiences for the better.

It is therefore important to share our experiential knowledge by making it explicit so that others can learn from us. In the organizational setting, knowledge capturing among employers and employees is required so that adjustments can be made in order to have a smooth path towards achievement of organizational goals and objectives.

Share the experiential knowledge so as to avoid the risk of losing information that could be important in solving certain organizational issues. Continually, it is important to share experiential knowledge so that others can be given an opportunity to learn from it.

World Bank Group, Ministry of Agriculture Animal Industry and Fisheries, together with the Department of Journalism and Communication- Makerere University, Kampala conducted a workshop on The Art of Knowledge Capturing from 30th June, 2016 to 3rd June, 2016.
